AWG

AWG is one type of DWDM,based on arrayed waveguide grating device. Its manufacturing tecnology is different with TFF DWDM.AWG have two types,Flat top and Gaussian.AWG have 32/40/48/96 channel types.

CCWDM

CCWDM is CWDM compact design, its manufacturing technology is free space, different with CWDM TFF technology.CCWDM not only compact, but also insertion loss, widely used for 5G FrontHaul, half active FrontHaul.

CWDM

CWDM full name coarse wavelength division multiplexer, total 18wavelengths 1270-1610nm(1271-1611nm),made by Thin Film Filter(TFF) technology,so also call TFF CWDM.CWDM is widely used for WDM network system, especially for 5G FrontHaul.

CWDM OADM

CWDM OADM is designed for adding/dropping some wavelengths at network nodes.CWDM OADM include west port, east port, add channels, drop channels and express.

DWDM

DWDM full name Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexer, general wavelength is C band 100G DWDM Channel 14-Channel 61,there’re O band DWDM too but few.O band DWDM is for 5G or other special network.DWDM have two manufacturing teachnology, one is TFF(Thin Film Filter),another is arrayed waveguide grating(i.e. AWG).

DWDM OADM

DWDM OADM usage is the same as CWDM OADM,just placed in different network, and wavelengths different.DWDM OADM wavelengths same as DWDM MUX/DEMUX,general is 100G C band from channel 14 to Channel 61.

FWDM

FWDM,i.e. Filter Wavelength Division Multiplexing, widely used for triple-play integration network,FTTH etc.FWDM have three wavelengths 1310/1490/1550nm,three end ports-COM,Pass(pass one or two wavelengths of 1310/1490/1550nm),Reflect(reflect other wavelengths except for the pass wavelengths)

PWDM

PWDM is similar FWDM,they are all run wavelengths 1310/1490/1550nm,specification also similar, but the different is PWDM pass end with one PD,FWDM pass end with one connector usually is SC/APC.PWDM PD generally fix on circuit board to use.

R/B Filter

R/B filter is Red/Blue filter,is used for single fiber C-band DWDM system,Red 1560.81-1548.31nm(C21-C36),Blue 1541.55-1529.35nm(C45-C60).
